Calendar 2026:
The meeting of generations and the power of enthusiasm
This calendar is a direct result of the inspiring work of our volunteer team and the community of the Chitalishte “Iskra-1964” in Sofia.
We met with them with the clear desire to make their youthful energy and enthusiasm useful. Our focus is on those who need a little attention, respect and honor for their experience and achievements.
Each of our meetings with them is interesting and exciting. We witness the life and excitement of a community, as well as the inexhaustible interest in learning and development, regardless of age and health status. This reciprocity and energy inspired us for the theme of the calendar for 2026 – to present poetry by authors from their Literary Club “Living Words”.

Our work, as well as the implementation of the calendar itself, is carried out with the support of the European Solidarity Corps program of the European Commission and the HRD Center (Center for Human Resources Development) – the National Agency for Bulgaria.
