Course on “Phones and Computers” in the city of Veliki Preslav
Thanks to the new initiative of the Open Space Foundation, a course on “Phones and Computers for Elders”, starting on August 5th, 2020, the elder population in Veliki Preslav will be able to learn how to work with their mobile smartphones and computers, how to search for information on the Internet and how to use different useful programs. The course is free of charge and takes place every Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. in club “Peroto” in the City Library. Mentors and educators for this program are Daniel Mateev, as well as Vladimir Stephanov and Zahari Minchev, two young and successful people from the city itself.
The course is taking place for the first time and one of its goals is to incite people from the younger and older generation to interact and help each other. At the end of the course the plan is to publish a small book or guide to help the elders.
The project is realized with the support of the EU’s program “European Solidarity Corps”.
