Youth voices against online hate

Youth voices against online hate

Poster Exhibition “Youth Against Disinformation” within the framework of EXPO “Digital Citizens”

We are proud to present the inspiring results of young people dedicated to critical thinking and tackling online hate against girls and women.

Over the summer months, over fifteen motivated young people worked intensively on topics that deeply concern them. With a true journalistic mission, they conducted in-depth research. They interviewed experts, activists and victims. They created journalistic reports that reveal the mechanisms of hate in the digital space and offer solutions.

The entire process of developing the materials was supported by two dedicated professionals from the Association of European Journalists in Bulgaria (AEJ): Ivan Radev, Katerina Vasileva and Victoria Spasova. Their expertise and guidance were key in transforming the youth’s ideas into strong and well-written journalistic texts, so that we can now hear the voices of young people loud and clear.

The first official public appearance of the materials took place during the  EXPO within the framework of the “Digital Citizens” conference. The texts were transformed into attractive posters and displayed in the special sector of the Factcheckers and sCOOL media, attracting the attention of visitors:

The young people’s articles are published on the website of our partners from sCOOL media, and we are delighted to share them with you!

Stay tuned for more.

What else?

Now it’s time for the messages to hit the road! We are launching a traveling exhibition initiative that will tour schools across the country. The exhibition will be created in a 200 x 70 cm vinyl format, making them ideal for outdoor fences, lobbies and schoolyards.

Through these posters, students can see the work of their peers, learn about important social issues and be inspired to think critically about the content they consume and create online.

Invitation to schools:

If you too would like us to make your school fence colorful, interesting and inspiring, give us a call! Contact us to discuss dates and give voice to youth activism in your community.
