How can History become an interesting subject at school?

Hello, colleagues and friends of history!

We are pleased to invite you to an event dedicated to innovative approaches in teaching history, organized within the framework of the “Inherited Culture” project.

If you are a history teacher, museum worker or young professional looking for inspiration and new ideas on how to make history more interesting and accessible to students, then this event is just for you!

We will present you the results of our work, which have the potential to transform the learning process and ignite the spark of curiosity about the past in young people.

What will we present?

  • Board game “DigIt”: An interactive and engaging game that immerses participants in the world of archaeology and history, teaching them facts and skills in a fun way.
  • Mobile application “Legacy Hunt”: An application that turns learning history into a real adventure, allowing users to explore historical sites and events digitally.
  • A handbook of ideas and good practices: a guide in which we have collected methods and inspiring case studies from all over Europe. This handbook was created by young people who are passionate about history, who have not only worked hard to collect the best practices for teaching and promoting historical heritage, but also share what and how has made them fans of History, so that they want it for their profession.

Who is the event for?

  • History teachers who want to enrich their teaching methods.
  • Museum workers looking for new ways to engage the audience.
  • Young professionals in the humanities who want to acquire practical skills and get acquainted with innovative educational tools.

We are waiting for you to share our findings and discuss the future of history teaching together!
