On June 21, 2018, at 19:00, in the hall of the Czech Center in Sofia, the collections of young Bulgarian and Tanzanian designers were displayed.
The theme of the fashion show was “Cultural Heritage”, while on the podium were the women’s and men’s collections using elements of traditional folklore clothes. Hand-painted shirts, robes with rhinestone appliqués, gowns and ornaments, African-style towels, t-shirts with appliqués are just some of the beauties that young designers from the Smolyan Vocational School of Art presented at the show.
The show was adorned by live performances by musicians from Tanzania, Uganda and France. And the whole program and organization of the event was done by our volunteer from Tanzania – Stacy Oswald, whose passion is fashion and the organization of reviews.
