“Move Your Finger”
is a programme that encourages young people to initiate and carry out volunteer activities. Together, they choose and renovate places in their town that are important to the local community.

By taking part in the programme, your project will show that there are active young people in your town. It will give them the opportunity to experiment, seek support and do something meaningful for their community.
Why do we do it? We believe it is important to encourage young people’s creativity and give them the opportunity to take an active role in developing and implementing solutions to issues that matter to their community, such as the environment, recycling and the reuse of resources. By participating in real projects, young people develop their skills and confidence while strengthening their entrepreneurial spirit. They learn to identify opportunities, take initiative and gain valuable experience. The Open Space Foundation team has been working on this programme since 2013. More and more people are finding the courage to dream and create real change in their communities. For us, it is even more important that we find these people and we will be happy to continue supporting them.
