Lab Move Your Finger 2.0: Creativity, ecology and fun at 97 SU “Bratya Miladinovi”

On October 30, in Sofia, in 97 SU “Miladinovi Brothers”, an exciting festival was held, which brought together small and large artists. Lab Move Your Finger 2.0 was more than an event – it was a celebration of creativity, ecology and fun. On the day, on its patron saint’s day, our team provoked young people to think about how to apply green practices in our daily lives so as to reduce our carbon footprint. Participants had the opportunity to touch the world of art, technology and sustainable development.

The festival offered a variety of workshops where children and youth had the opportunity to create their own works of art from waste materials such as toilet and kitchen paper rolls, corks, buttons and scraps of fabric. This not only developed their creativity, but also encouraged the reuse of materials and the reduction of waste.

The more technologically inclined participants had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of video production and 3D modeling. These workshops were the ideal platform to develop digital skills and create innovative projects.

The festival was enriched by a theater workshop, which ended with a performance. The compliments are well deserved because the plot and characters were invented by the students.

And in the corridor of the school we placed posters that our volunteers Ghhita (Morocco) and designed by Yasemin (Turkey) made with useful ideas for behavior change.

Lab Move Your Finger 2.0 was not just a festival of creativity, but also a platform to promote ecological thinking. Through its various activities, our team was able to convey to the participants the important message of protecting the environment and reducing our carbon footprint. Lab Move Your Finger 2.0 proved that creativity and ecology can go hand in hand.

The festival was an inspiring event that showed that even the most ordinary materials can be used to create unique works of art. The workshop leaders deserve your applause.
