Project “Art for social change” has a good start. 

The program “Art for social change” to build capacities of youth organizations from Europe and Africa in a field of education, training and youth work, testing and implementation of methods of non-formal education.

Tasks of the project:

– Preparing and testing tools for developing key competencies in young people: learning skills, initiative and entrepreneurship, social and civic competences, while establishing methods for performance evaluation;

– Use of the European reference tools for validation and recognition of non-formal and informal learning, both for young people and youth workers through promoting lifelong learning and dissemination of good practices;

– Create a web-based open educational system to be used by the project partners, but also from colleagues in the relevant participating countries (Bulgaria, Italy, Tanzania, and Uganda).
The project aims to support and improve the use of Non-Formal Education and Arts, in combination, as a tool for education, social inclusion, mutual understanding. This project will build on the experience of 16 youth workers from Europe and Africa through sampling model for cooperation and exchange of best practices. During the project, participants will develop their skills and work patterns through implementing a training process and testing of new tools into practice.
