Career day at 97 SU “Bratya Miladinovi” Sofia
On 21 December 2021 we participated in the Career day at 97 SU “Bratya Miladinovi” Sofia, which was organized for the first time. More than 30 professionals from different spheres took part in the event and the school doors were open to students from schools 97 and 79 in Sofia.
“It was interesting and meaningful,” Pepa Peneva, one of our participants said. “I know part of 97 SU team and like them very much! I even know some of their students and today I met more of them. They are wonderful young people! They are interested, looking for, a bit anxious, but they have important decisions to take in their lives.
Good luck and do not be afraid of mistakes!” all of us wish to them.”
In the event, there participated our volunteers and interns. We talked about the choice of professional path, how to go through it, what programs and education help not only a person to make their choice but also to develop additional skills. We presented our educational program F.I.R.E. (From Idea to Reality and Execution), which will very soon offer a new, fourth module- “Media literacy and civil activity”. The program is accessible to all mobile phones and tables, and it is free for use.
The fourth module is created in partnership with colleagues from Germany, Bulgaria, Belgium, Greece and Northern Macedonia, under the ACTIon project
